SC rules employer’s accountability in case of default in PF contribution - January 19, 2012
The Supreme Court has ruled that the employer will be held accountable in case of default in making payment of contribution to the provident fund even though they come under the 'exempted establishments' under the Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952.
