Paycheck India Project
Paycheck India is an internet-based labour research project which consists of an online survey and labour market related/HRM content. Paycheck website briefs the web visitor (mainly employees, employers, trade unions and NGOs) with information related to salary, working conditions, minimum wages and other work-related issues.
Project is part of the WageIndicator Foundation (a non-profit labour empowerment initiative) which has websites in 72 countries. In India, a team based at IIM Ahmadabad leads the initiative, in partnership with WageIndicator Foundation and University of Amsterdam. As of now, it provides with information on minimum wages across all the Indian states, collects salary data through online survey and projects salary range in various industries and occupations through Salary Checker.
